It all started with my college roommates Nikon D3200 and his invitation to go on a shoot. Like any freshman hoping to make as many new friends as possible, to start my college experience off right, I accepted the invite. We explored the campus, the beach and did some long boarding all around Boston’s north shore campus community. Exploring has always been on my agenda. It was in those moments that I realized how my craving for constant adventures paired perfectly with a photographer’s lifestyle. Discovering that, I quickly fell in love with the camera and realized how many “new profile pictures” I could get thanks to photography. My own Nikon arrived in the form of a Christmas present, and well… I was hooked and hopefully am now contributing some fun shots for all to enjoy!
The camera accompanies me everywhere. Exploring is where you get amazing shots, as it leads you to all sorts of new and interesting places. I strongly believe that photography is being in the right place at the right time. As an adventurer, one is destined to find that “time and place”!
I have been fortunate enough to do a bit of traveling. Whether for pleasure or volunteering, I have had the advantage of seeing several corners of the world. It has been a good start to my expected “lifelong adventuring”. There are endless places to discover. What better way to share these discoveries than through photography… right?
Photography has enabled me to connect with people that I otherwise would never have encountered. Locals are happy to be guides to their favorite “off the beaten path” locations, just as I know a handful of hidden gems in NYC, which I am always happy to share. I look forward to continuing my travels and expanding my relationships.
I hope to use my images as a tool to achieve a higher purpose in life. In an effort to continue paying it forward and volunteering, I target photographs that bring people together and start unique conversations.
Photography is a language that can be understood anywhere in the world. I am striving to speak that language fluently and to participate in the dialog with as many people as possible. Please follow along, share your thoughts and join me on this inspiring photographic journey!
